Description
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) intends to negotiate a sole-source, time and materials modification to an existing GSA Schedule MOBIS Task Order with Kleimann Communications Group, Inc., 1321 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington D.C. 20005 to revise the statement of work to allow the contractor to work on an alternative Good Faith Estimate (GFE), two modified HUD-1 Settlement Statements, a closing script and a closing script form, and a consolidated summary of findings from three individual consumer testing reports produced under and earlier contract for the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). HUD feels it would be extraordinarily inefficient to have two different contractors working on this part of the project. Information and insight sharing would be more efficient if the work were done by the same firm. HUD feels that multiple contractors splitting up the work could result in serious disharmony to the detriment of the performance of all the forms. HUD cites only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. In accordance with: 41 USC 253(c) (1), See FAR 6.302-1). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Please note the intent is to award a follow on modification to the current Task Order. The value of the modification is estimated at $360,500.
