Description

This notice satisfies the requirements of FAR Part 5.2. Market research indicates that the Naval Surface Damage Control Trainer is not a commercial item and will not be procured under FAR Part 12. FAR Part 15 procedures will be utilized. Cost and Pricing Data may be required. The anticipated Solicitation release date is August 1, 2007. Previous market research yielded limited response from the Small Businesses community. Any Small Businesses desiring to submit a capabilities statement regarding its ability to design, manufacture and deliver a Naval Surface Damage Control Trainer with ability to reduce the dependency on an outside water source should do so, no later than July 20, 2007, by emailing to gregory.dougherty@navy.mil a not to exceed two (2) page statement of its capabilities. Additionally, the Small Businesses shall identify the Socio-economic status of the firm. Currently, no set-aside is planned. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-JUL-2007).
