Description

The purpose of this Sources Sought/Market Research is to identify potential sources capable of producing Manganese bronze bar in accordance with the Buy American Act. The bar should be 4.00 inch diameter, C67600, H04(must be HARD not half hard). De livery of the bar would be to Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The approximate quantity would be 50ft. Firms capable of supplying this product should indicate their interest by providing the Government a brief summary of their company by contacting Ilana Bohren at ilana.bohren@us.army.mil. Your request should include cage code, company name, address, phone number, email address and a point of contact and estimated price and availability. Please respond NO LATER THAN October 12, 2007. This is a Sou rces Sought for planning purposes and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or otherwise pay for informat ion solicited. The information you provide will only be untilized by TACOM Rock Island in developing its acquisition approach for future requirements.
