Description
The United States Army Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) has a requirement for updating and reaccredidation for educational course produced by Operational Medicine Division at USAMRIID. The North American Industry Classification S ystem Code applicable to this work is 611430 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The services required are for updating on on-line distance learner programs as follows: Advanced Topics on Medical Defense Against Biological Agents, Small pox: Recogniti on and Response, Vaccines against Biological Warfare Agents, Toxins as Biological Warfare & Terrorism Agents and Botulinum Toxin. The North American Industry Classification System Code applicable to this work is 611430 with a size standard of $6.5 million. This is a notice of intent to award to Swank HealthCare 10795 Watson Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63127. Swank has been providing this support and retains the proprietary database with current education records and security access to USAMRIIDS military c ommunications systems. It would take another vendor a year to be cleared and to transfer data to provide the web hosting and maintenance of certifications for the training. This is not a request for a competitive quote. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government providing clear and convincing evidence that the contractor is capable of performing the technical requirements and that competition of this and future requirements of this nature would be advantageous to the Governm ent. Your response should include your company qualifications, experience, past performance and proposed costs or pricing for this or similar work. All responses will be considered, but the Contracting Officer retains the right to determine the procureme nt strategy, based on available information. If no written responses are received by 3:00 PM eastern standard time on September 27, 2007, the contract will be awarded without further notice. The solicitation with contract terms and the statement of work i s provided with this notice. Please provide your response to pamela.nevels@amedd.army.mil by September 27, 2007.
