- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement cons titutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is W912NR-07-T-0015, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Louisiana Army National Guard is seeking proposals f rom firms that are interested in a contract for catered meals to be delivered to Camp Beauregard, Pineville, LA and Louisiana State University of Alexandria (LSU-A). Contract will be for an estimated period of 65 days (1 Oct 15 Dec 07). This RFQ incorpor ates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2005-16 and Defense Acquisition Circular Number 91-10, 20070327 Edition. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. Vendor will be selected based on pas t performance and price with past performance considered more important than price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 722320 with small business standard of $6.5 million or less annual gross revenue. Description of service: 40 catered meals a day for each breakfast, lunch and dinner (120 meals a day). Breakfast and dinner meals to be delivered/served to Camp Beauregard, Pineville, LA and lunch meals to be delivered/served to LSU-A. Offer to be firm fixed-price. Meals must b e in accordance with the Louisiana Army National Guard 14-Day Menu which will be emailed upon request. Serving location may be in a remote area with no means of maintaining correct product temperatures for hot food items at or above 140oF, or cold food ite ms at or below 40oF; therefore, the caterer will need to provide means to maintain food at proper temperatures throughout the serving periods. The contractor also needs to provide condiments, which includes, but not limited to, individual salt, pepper, sug ar, creamer, sweetener, hot sauce, margarine, jam/jelly paper plates, utensils, napkins and equipment required for transporting and serving meals. Interested parties are to provide a per meal price based on the rotation of the menu below. Interested partie s must also provide three (3) references for past performance.
