- HANDHELD THERMAL IMAGER, Quantity:6 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ATTACHED PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST AN FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items).IAW clause 52.212-2 the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors and conformance to specifications. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-16, Effective 22 March 2007. NAICS Code 334511. FOB Robins AFB, Georgia, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contract Registration 52.233-3. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-7549 and the anticipated response date will be 26 September 2007 and the anticipated award date will be 28 September 2007. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Reps and Certs, an offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of this provision if the offeror has complete the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. Please log on to this website and complete the Offeror Reps and Certs. All responsible sources solicited may submit a quote which shall be considered. Performance Requirements for mini/handheld thermal monocular imager 1. Must have human detection capability within the following range guidelines (minimum of 1000 ft.-maximum of 2000 ft.). 2. Must be battery operated and perform for a minimum of 4 hours of sustained use before a battery change is required. 3. Focal plane array must meet a minimum pixel count of 160 x 120 with a maximum pixel count of 180 x 140 4. Unit must be lightweight, no more than 24 oz. with batteries included. 5. Optics field of vision must be a minimum 11 x 8 degrees and a maximum of 32 x 24 degrees. 6. Unit must be waterproof up to a minimum of 1 meter NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
