- It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This agency intends to award to Q-Matic Corporation, 95 Underwood Rd, Fletcher NC 28732-9692. 6 MDS requires a replacement queuing system for the PharmaCARE center, which is one part of a system that connects the hospital as well as the various pharmacies located throughout Macdill AFB; the following items are required: Software: - Part number: QS+, Q-Qin? Software w/API and custom layout, QTY 1 ea. Client Software: - Part number: QSCLIENT, Q-Win? Client License, QTY 12 ea. - Part number: QSAPIUSR, API User License (QSAPI required), QTY 1 ea. - Part number: QNSU2190, Q-MATIC Next? A contract for a Queuing system will be awarded to Q-matic Corporation following no response back to this notice of intent. The purchase of a queuing system for the PharmaCare center must be done through Q-Matic Corporation because they are the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a replacement of a portion of a system that includes SW, HW signage, database and cabling which are proprietary and are exclusive to the Q-MATIC system. The Q-MATIC solution is the only system available that will integrate with the existing customer flow management infrastructure, including the low voltage electrical lines, data lines, signage and database structure. The Q-MATIC system will support virtually all ODBC compliant datase types, and has the ability to transfer customers from one Q-MATIC system location to another through the LAN/WAN as Q-MATIC is used throughout the base for the other pharmacies as well as other hospital systems. Q-MATIC also has a large U.S. support organization that provides 24-hour helpdesk support 7 days a week, highly trained technicians located throughout the country to provide timely, onsite support and a skilled Project Management Team to coordinate all installation activity. Market research was conducted for the purchase of this queuing system and Q-MATIC Corporation is the only contractor found able to supply this item as we require. If no response to this notice is received by 3:00pm EST on Thursday, September 27, 2007, the award for this queuing system for the PharmaCARE building will be made to Q-MATIC Corporation.
