Description

The proposed contract action is for 2 EACH Biological Fume Hoods, Thermo Fisher Scientific P/N Forma Class II, A1, Benchtop BSC, 220V, 50 Hz, Operator and Maintenance manuals in English which the MEDCOM Europe Regional Contracting Office intends to s olicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive propos als. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Supplies will be delivered to the U.S. Hospital, 66849 Landstuhl, Germany. This acqu isition will be solicited in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration with the CCR m ay be accomplished using their web page www.ccr.gov or by calling (888) 227-2423. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITA TION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quot ation, which shall be considered by the agency.
