Description

Site Survey of U.S, Rail Capability to Utilize 45 Ton Rail Tank Cars between Tsurumi, OU-1 and Yokota Air Base as well as the two United States maintained bridges at Tsurumi (Anzen-Bridge) and Haijima of Yokota (Heiwa-Bridge) can safely and legally transport Bulk Petroleum Product utilizing 45 Ton Rail Tank Cars (Taki-1000 Type). In accordance with Article 5 of the Agreement between the United States of America and the Japan Freight Railway Company dated 1 Apr 87, Paragraph 6.302-1, Part 6 of Federal Acquisition Regulation, apply to this acquisition. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
