Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to purchase 10 each class six GSA approved file cabinet containers. GSA approved means the containers are manufactured in accordance with AA-F-358 (Ammendment 2). Containers must include 5 drawers, legal size, multi-lock, X-09 high security safe locks, color: gray, and must meet U.S. DOD specifications for storage & protection of classified materials. Dimensions must meet the following crit eria OUTSIDE - 57.75in.H x 19.25in.W x 28in.D, INSIDE DRAWER - 10.25in.H x 15.25in.W x 24.75in.D. Weight 625lbs. NSN #7110-01-029-0389. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. To be considered for award, offers of equal products must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance charactoristics specified in the solicitation. Equipment will be shipped to 1 0 different locations throughout California. A list of the shipping locations will be made available upon request. Pricing must include shipping costs to all 10 separate locations and installation. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than September 27, 2007 before 2:00pm PST. Quotes may be submitted via fax to (805) 594-6348.
