- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of: Maintenance Contract for 5 ECL Devices 001 - Service contract for 5 BioVeris ElectroChemLuminescence (ECL) Detection systems w/ serial #'s 1168, 1130, 1139, 1140, and 1249. Selected Vendor will provide maintenance for the M1M BioVeris M1M devices. These devices identify harmful organisms and toxins, including botulinum neurotoxins, anthrax, ricin and staphylococcal enterotoxins A and B, among others. SEE SCHEDULE C IN CLAUSE SECTION FOR BREAKDOWN OF SERVICE REQUIREMENTS. SEE SCHEDULE D AND COMPLETE FOR PRICING/BID. Schedule C - SERVICES: Once decontaminated and shipped to Vendor. Maintenance will include the following: 1) Best response time available at any given time, and priority scheduling over billable service calls. 24 Hour technical phone support. Unlimited emergency service calls during normal work hours. 2) Instrument and instrument specific software maintained to factory specifications through repair or replacement. This includes parts and labor. 3) Software and hardware updates are provided as available by Vendor, at no extra charge. 4) Services are performed during normal business hours. No after hour requests will be billable. Special circumstances for after hour our emergency work to be performed is to be requested by Govt prior to work performed and or billed for, if above and bey ond regular maintenance work. 5) for Instruments that are or have been located in a biosafety level 3 or 4 laboratory, Vendor will provide off-site biosafety level 3 or 4 training that includes a parts kit and Govt shall be responsible for carrying out all Instrument maintenance and s ervice at its on-site location. 6) preventative maintenance to be performed on appropriate system components in addition to items being repaired. 7) A loaner instrument will be provided at the discretion of Vendor, and may be subject to separate billing. 8) Provide a services report of all services performed. 9) All warrantied parts included. Schedule D Pricing Section 1) Extended Service Agreement for M1M Serial #s 1130, 1139, 1140 with starting dates 2 November 2007 through 1 January, 2008 = $_________ per machine per month. For a Firm Fixed Price total = $__________ for 2 month period.. 2) Extended Service Agreement for M1M Serial #s 1130, 1139, 1140, 1168 and 1249. This is for a maintenance contract on 5 ECL Detection systems SEE CLIN 001 above.. Pursuant to 10 U.S. C. 2304 ( c ) (1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, supplies, servicecs and/or equipment are available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies, services and/or equipment will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the governments requirements. The solicitation is issued as a r equest for quote (RFQ).
