Description

The Internal Revenue Service, Midstates Procurement Branch intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DLT Solutions, Inc., 13861 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 400, Herndon, VA 20171 under GSA Schedule Contract No. GS-35F-4543G for maintenance of Quest software. This software is used to maintain the IRS current Wintel environment, provide security reports, server consolidation and the migration activities to the Active Directory Environment. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers. Based on the requirements of this Solicitation, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR8.405-6(a)(2). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Only written responses will be accepted and must be received within three (3) calendar days of the date of this notice. The Government anticipates an award date on or about October 1, 2007. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
