Description

DESC: NSN 1005-00-557-7409, Part Number 5577409. The item to procure is a Cartridge Stop Assembly for the M2 Machine Gun. Item consists of: 5577408 Stop, 6008975 Pawl, 5013611 Plunger, 5013612 Pin. Parts manufactured raw steel material or steel cas ting per drwg requirements. 5577408 Stop is manufactured from a wrought steel or precision cast item about two inches long by 1 3/16 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches high. Heat Treating and Phosphate Finish required. First Article Test may be required. Prop osed contract is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five ordering periods. Guaranteed minimum requirements are 6,000 each, with a potential contract maximum quantity of 50,000 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 09 October 2007. The response date listed is an estimate only. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY07 requirement. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance wit h FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
