- GENERAL INFORMATION: Document Type: Sources Sought, Pre-solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: NA Posted Date: Original Response Date/Due By: September 28, 2007 Current Response Date/Due By: September 28, 2007 Original Archive Date: Current Archive Date: Classification Code: X -- Lease or rental of facilities NAICS Code: 531120 -- Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Miniwarehouses) Lease Term: Ten (10) Years, Five (5) years firm Place of Performance: Detroit, MI Delineated Area See Delineated Area Below REQUIREMENT: The United States Government desires to lease modern, quality office space consisting of approximately 16,100 rentable sq. ft in Detroit, Michigan within the following delineated area: North - Warren Avenue South - Atwater Street East - St. Aubin/Dequindre West - 12th Street Other Limitations: -Must be located within a 3 minute commute of I-94 -May extend Westward to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport -Other cities include, but are not limited to Dearborn, Melvindale, Allen Park, Taylor, and Romulus The space should yield between 14,000 to 16,100 ANSI/BOMA office area sq. ft. The space must be fully serviced including all utilities, janitorial, landscaping and snow removal services. The office space must be contiguous, and preferably on the first floor level. One reserved parking space is required. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than January 1, 2008. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by broker/agent must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building?s ownership. Access to public transportation within three (3) blocks and on-site parking to cover commuting and visitor needs should be available. Space should be located near a variety of moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants, and other amenities such as shops, cleaners, banks, etc. These services should be available within three blocks.
