Description
Contractor will provide and mount 3 each projectors with universal ceiling mount systems for 3 classrooms at Bldg 951 Yakima Training Center, Yakima WA Single classroom will need the following: Contractor will provide cables to include installation a nd materials for a computer, composite video and stereo audio cable. The cable will be plenum, r ated and routed from the projector to a wall plate. The plate will contain VGA input, PC audio input, composite video input, and line level audio input for the left and right channels. The selected contractor will also provide installation and materials for a 60 inch X 80 inch manual pull down screen. Audio-The contractor will provide instal lation and materials for Audio from the PC input and auxiliary wall mou nted input for a single classroom which will be routed to (2)CA-5 speakers that will be powered by an audio amplifier. Volume will be controlled by the projectors with a remote control . Certification and Licensing - The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all Low Voltage permits f or the AV system. Once the project is completed the contractor will provide proof of certification and licensing from the State of Washington. SITE VISIT Site visit will be conducted on the following date: 18 September 2007 at 10:00am Bldg 951 Yakima Armory 1211 Firing Center Road Yakima, Wa 98901 POC for the site visit is: SFC Mulins. 1st Bn 205th Regt (509)249-4020 3. ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS SUBMITTED 1. The projectors are to be make, model, lumen output, or should we spec what would be best for a general classroom? The site visit will take care of this. 2. Are the ceilings dropped or standard dry wall? Drop Ceilings 3. The wall plate referred to has more inputs than cable to be run. Will have to be answered at the site visit. 4. Are the screens provided by to Govt or by the contractor? Screen is already in place. 5. Are the CA-5 speakers provided or do we provide? Speakers need to be provided. 6. Licensing is not required as this is not new construction? Correct, it will be installed in an existing building and classroom. 7. Can the end user clarify the audio part of the install? Audio needs to be installed in order for students to hear presentations, etc. 8. Will the base provide electrical outlets for the projectors? There is already an outlet in the ceiling. We only need one projector in the new class room, the other two already have projectors. All 3 classrooms require a universal mount for all three projectors
