FOB: Destination SPECIFICATIONS FOR DYNAMOMETER PART NO. QTY DESCRIPTION 850M 1 AIDCO MODEL 850M AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SERVICE EVALUATION CENTER A versatile test stand, designed for testing heavy-duty military cross-drive transmissions. Test transmissions, gear pumps, vane pumps, torque converters, hydrostatic pumps, hydraulic motors and hydraulic cylinders. Closed-loop hydrostatic drive system ensures isolation from contamination. High and low flow recirculation systems for monitoring oil flow and pressure. High pressure circuit for cylinder and pump testing. Dual eddy current absorbers for simulating vehicle loading and inertia. Main Drive System 200 hp (149 kW), 1755 rpm (60 Hz), 1450 rpm (50 Hz) 3-phase electric motor. 6000 psi (414 bar) closed-loop hydrostatic drive system capable of 582 lb-ft torque (789 Nm) @ 6000 psi (414 bar) up to 1,750 output rpm. 3,400 rpm maximum output speed. Output speed variable from 0 to 3,400 rpm in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. 20 gallon (76 L) hydrostatic reservoir. Main Flow Circuit Up to 60 GPM ( 227 L/min ) at up to 1,000 psi ( 69 bar ). The flow can be regulated using the Main Flow Out adjust valve. Pressure can be regulated with the Main Flow Out pressure adjust. Simulates a vehicles charge pump when that pump is not connected to the transmission under test. 260 gallon ( 984 L ) main reservoir. High Pressure Flow Circuit Up to 5 GPM ( 19 L/min ) at 5,000 psi ( 345 bar ) continuous. For testing hydraulic cylinders and valves. Lube Flow Circuit Up to 60 GPM (227 L/min) at up to 60 psi (4.1 bar). Provides oil for lubrication of components under test. Drive Load Sensing Circuit (D.L.S.) Enables the operator to control the acceleration and deceleration rate of the test transmission to better define shift events. Dual Eddy Current Absorber Assemblies Each assembly is capable of 525 ft-lbs (712 Nm) continuous braking torque and 1470 lbs/ft (1993 Nm) intermittent braking torque. Provides a way to accurately check shift points and torque converter and clutch performance throughout the complete range of load and throttle conditions. Can be positioned horizontally and vertically to align with the transmission output shaft, then locked in place. Includes Stall device to measure the amount of output torque developed by a transmission under test. (0-2,000 lb.-ft., 0 2712 Nm). Pump Suction Port One 3 inch port with manual ball shut-off valve provides a positive head of oil by gravity from the 260 gal. main reservoir. Equipped with suction gauge and test light. Recirculation loops For oil flow monitoring. Monitor pressure, flow, or both in either a 0 50 GPM (0189 L) circuit or a high flow 0 150 GPM ( 0 577 L ) circuit. Verify flow or leakage in a transmission or pump. Eight (8) Pressure Taps and gauges For monitoring various internal component pressures via the gauge panel. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS: The test stand includes a size #5 reduced voltage Wye-Delta motor st arter and control voltage transformer completely mounted, wired and performance tested on the machine. The following electrical services are standard: 230V/60HZ; 460V/60HZ; and 380V/50HZ. Voltages other than the standard services require a special electric fee. PwrLift 1 POWER LIFT ASSEMBLY The power lift facilitates easy vertical maneuvering of the hydraulic drive motor/driveshaft over a 35 range. 22S819 1 Hose Group 1/4th inch through 3 inch hose assortment from 72 inch to 96 inch length for connecting test components to test stand. Invoices must include complete mailing address, complete contract/purchase order number, description, price, and quantity, payment terms, point of contact and phone number for notification in case of defective invoice. Offers are due at the ACA SR, Directorate of Contracting, SFCA-SR-SI, PO Box 33501, Bldg 1803, Fort Sill, OK 73503-0501 by 4:00 PM CST September 19, 2007. Fax or email transmissions of quotes shall be accepted, fax number 580-442-3819 and email address is annette.logan@us.army.mi l. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The following three questions were received prior to this combined synopsis/solicitation: 1. In the solicitation a Cross Drive Transmission Tester is listed, but only inline transmissions are specified for testing. Please verify the transmissions you want to test. A: Inline transmissions. 2. Do you plan to test transmissions to the NMWR/DMWR standard on this piece of equipment? A: Yes. 3. Hydrostatic systems have inherent inefficiencies of as much as 25%. With this inherent loss the 200 HP hydraulic unit could only deliver 150 HP to the transmission, is your specification then for 200 HP based upon speed and torque at the input to the transmissions? A: The specified 200 HP will meet our requirement.
