- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Complex located in Forrest City, Arkansas. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided may include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Periods are as follows: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 200 days - Estimated Maximum 800 days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 175 visits - Estimated Maximum 700 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Cardiologist - Guaranteed Minimum 2 visits - Estimated Maximum 8 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / General Surgeon - Guaranteed Minimum 2 visits - Estimated Maximum 8 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Orthopedic Surgeon - Guaranteed Minimum 2 visits - Estimated Maximum 8 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Physical Therapy - Guaranteed Minimum 2 visits - Estimated Maximum 8 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Podiatrist - Guaranteed Minimum 2 visits - Estimated Maximum 8 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Psychiatrist - Guaranteed Minimum 9 visits - Estimated Maximum 36 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Dietician - Guaranteed Minimum 2 sessions - Estimated Maximum 8 sessions; Outpatient Institution Services / Mobile CT - Guaranteed Minimum 2 sessions - Estimated Maximum 8 sessions; Outpatient Institution Services / Mobile MRI - Guaranteed Minimum 2 sessions - Estimated Maximum 8 sessions; Outpatient Institution Services / Optometrist - Guaranteed Minimum 9 sessions - Estimated Maximum 36 sessions. The solicitation will be made available on/or about November 1, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
