- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking sources that are capable of producing the subject Offshore Boarding Platform, in accordance with the attached draft specification. The USCG is seeking interest and capability of firms to produce up to four (4) boats upon award of the applicable contracting vehicle, preferably via GSA schedule contract holders. This request for information dies not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. No entitlement to paymnet of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Govnerment will arise as a result of the submission of contractor's information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for proprietary information not properly identfied. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Please submit information to include any pricing, GSA Schedule information that is applicable, comments on the specification and requirements via email to Ms. Jennie Peterson at Jennie.L.Peterson@uscg.mil no later than 2:00 PM EST on 19 October 2007. Firms who wish to respond to this RFI should include their business size, CAGE code, Dun and Bradsteet number and GSA schedule, should they hold one.
