- Description: This requirement Fabrication and installation of a PIT Tag detection system, modification to dewatering structure, new location for fish bypass outfall, and installing 2 new valve actuators and a new valve vault, including all electrical work. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fixed-Price Construction. ACQUISITION METHOD: Invitation for Bid (IFB) Project Magnitude: $1 million to $5 Million. LARGE BUSINESS: Large Businesses will be required to submit a Small Business Plan. TIME FOR COMPLETION: 22 December 2007 to 15 March 2008 PROCUREMENT INFO: This procurement is unrestricted, Full and Open Competition In accordance with FAR 19.10, Small Business Competitive Demonstraion Program . CCR REGISTRATION: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and must provide registration information with their proposal. Contracto rs can access the CCR for free at http://www.ccr.gov. SOLICITATION DATE: Issue date for the solicitation will be on or about 24 September 2007 with the proposal due date no earlier than 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Closing date will be stated in the solicitation. NOTE: This announcement is not a solicitation but only an announcement that one will be issued on or about 24 September 2007. A solicitation package to include drawings and specifications will be issued on or about 24 September 2007 and will only be avail able on WWW.FedTeds.gov.
