Description
Contractor is to provide a minimum 60 to 75 ton Rough Terrain Hydraulic Crane. The crane shall have a minimum boom length of 100 feet; jib would not be needed but is acceptable. The crane shall be capable of lifting 15,000 lbs. At a radius of 50 f eet with the outriggers fully extended. The crane shall be inspected by a qualified individual in accordance with EM385-1-1 which is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety Manual. This is available at the USACE website at http://hq.usace.army.mil/soh/em 385/385TOC.htm. Contractor must submit the type, model, and any necessary information to show that the crane meets the requirements of this Scope of Work. Rental period will be from 01 December 2007 through 28 February 2008. Rental period will be three ( 3) months. The Government reserves the right to reject any offer that does not meet the requirements of this solicitation. Award shall be made to the offeror that meets all the requirements of this solicitation and is the lowest price. Delivery information: The Crane shall be delivered to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Maintenance and Repair Section at Lock and Dam #3, 4330 Lock and Dam Road, Welch, Minnesota 55089 no later than 01 December 2007. Should the crane be delivered before 01 December 2007, the Crane will not be billed for the period before 01 December 2007 for the early delivery. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Delivered. Pick up of the crane shall be the responsibility of the Contractor, and the Contractor will incur the cost of picking up and returning the crane. This solicitation is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. Relevant North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 532412 with a small business size standard of $6.5 million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on www.FedTeds.gov on or around 12 September 2007.
