Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the following PR/solicitation number: F2CT7P7235A003. . (iii) This PR and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-05. (iv) This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses/unrestricted in regards to size standards. The applicable NAICS is 811310, and the small business size standard is $6.5M. (v) This RFQ contains 12 line item(s): CLIN 0001: Monthly maintenance of the 100 kw generator located at the Passenger Terminal, Bldg 2028, Hickam AFB, HI. Generator is a Cummins 100kw ONAN Genset Model DGCB. Items to be inspected include: 1. All fluids will be checked to insure they are in the correct operating range. 2. Inspect and clean air filter element. Replace if necessary. 3. Fuel tanks and lines will be inspected for leaks and for determining if excessinve sludge, water or rust is collecting. All fuel filters and sediment bowls will be cleaned and replaced as needed. 4. All coolant hoses will be inspected for security, brittleness, leaking, cracking and weakness. 5. The entire unit will be lubricated. Oil will be changed if the running time meter exceends one hundred (100) hours of operation since the last oil change or at a minimum of once a year. Oil filters will be changed during each oil change. 6. All batteries will be checked for condition, corrosion and specific gravity. 7. Jacket water heater will be checked for proper operation. 8. All belts will be inspected for proper tension and condition. 9. All brushes on generator will be checked for proper setting. Commutator and slip rings will be cleaned as required. 10. All instruments will be checked for proper operation. 11. Automatic transfer switch will be checked for proper operation, contacts will be cleaned and all moving parts therein lubricated. 12. Battery charger will be checked for proper operation. 13. Personnel will be instructed on operating procedures and upkeep to be followed by OWNER between regularly scheduled maintenance. 14. After all of the above inspections have been completed, technician will run generator set(s) and conduct load test under OWNER?S load, providing OWNER makes such load available and it is practical to run tests concerned. Period of Performace is 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008 except November 2007. Quantity: 11 months CLIN 0002: Annual maintenance service of the 100kw generator located at the Passenger Terminal. Generator is a Cummins 100kw ONAN Genset Model DGCB.
