Description
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award Sole Source requirement to Qwest Government Services, 1801 California St. Denver, CO 80202-2028. This sole source acquisition is in accordance with authority citations 10 USC 2304(c)(1), 41 USC 253(c)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1a(2)(iii). Qwest Government Services is considered the only responsible source and no other company can satisfy the supplies or services required. Award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government and is not expected to be recovered through competition. In addition, award to another source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling this requirement. The requirement is to provide a working PlantCML 9-1-1 emergency response system for Buckley AFB. The end result expected from the project is to have the ability to place and receive calls from the public switched network; have the ability to make and receive calls from internal stations; have the ability to make and receive calls on the customer network; have the ability to receive and transfer calls from the 911 public networks; have the ability to put calls on hold and retrieve them; have the ability to make outgoing calls, and have the ability to receive and display Automatic Number Identification; and Automatic Location Information (ANI/ALI). Equipment will be installed in accordance with International Building Code (IBC) standards and Base Communications Standards. This service will be provided to the Security Forces dispatch center Bldg. 620 with a remote operator console to be installed at the fire station, Bldg. 806, dispatch center, Buckley AFB, Aurora, CO. Installation and delivery will be no later than 60 days after date of award. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. Point of contact is Contracting Specialist Theresa R. A.
