- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M68909-07-Q-1087 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-16 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement Change Notice 200705. NAICS Code 334290 applies. This solicitation is unrestricted. Item 0001: Quad-Band Satellite Simulator, Qty 2 EA, Tampa Microwave Model LTT-03-W-198 or equivalent with the following salient characteristics: Simulates C. X, Ku, and Ka bands simultaneously, permits earth station setup without actual satellites available, rugged zed with weatherproof enclosures, less than 35 pounds for ease in transporting, field tested, simulates operation over 300 ft, and AC and DC power. Item 0002: Accessories for Item 0001 as follows: 10 Meter Mast (Tampa Microwave P/N 70602-01 or equivalent) and Mounting Bracket (Tampa Microwave P/N 70602-02 or equivalent), Qty 2 EA. Accessories proposed shall be compatible with the Satellite Simulator offered by the contractor under this RFQ. All responsible contractors may submit a quotation which shall be considered by MCTSSA. The Contractor shall provide with its quotation complete descriptive literature explaining how the product quoted will meet the Government?s needs, delivery timeframe, warranty information and FOB point. Quotations are requested FOB Destination. The contractor shall extend to the Government no less than any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the appli cable deliverable listed in the schedule of the contract. The followi ng FAR and DFARS provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1; 52.212-2, Technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement and price; 52.212-3 [Alt I], the vendor must complete and return with quotation if not registered in ORCA; 52.212-4; 52.212-5, with the following clauses under paragraph (b) incorporated by reference: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-33; 252.211-7003; and 252.212-7001 with the following clauses under paragraph (b) incorporated by reference: 252.225-7036, 252.227-7015, and 252.232-7003.
