- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure, on a Sole Source basis, from Aeronix, Inc., 1775 W. Hibiscus Blvd, #200, Melbourne, Florida 32901-2627, a Time and Materials contract for providing support in upgrading initial FinderLite systems, investigating and implementing enhancements to current FinderLite system baselines, and provide updated technical documentation as required. Aeronix, Inc. is the original manufacturer of the FinderLite system which is integrated into the design of all Projects aircraft. This requirement will have Aeronix upgrade the initial FinderLite system, investigate and implement enhancements to the current FinderLite system baseline and provide technical documentation for the system. Due to its intricate design and interface with other systems onboard the aircraft, it is essential to the mission of the program that Aeronix perform all hardware and software upgrades. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334511. The estimated period of performance is date of award through 12 months. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR Web site at http://www.ccr.gov. A paper registration form may be obtained for the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. All deliveries shall be inspected and accepted at the point of destination. All deliveries shall be delivered FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren VA. 22448-5114. Award date is anticipated to be 17 September 2007. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency no later than 2:00 pm on 07 September 2007.
