- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The AMC Specialized Contracting Branch intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, 13 & 19. This solicitation is posted as open market, 100% small business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19.502-2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 333313. Small Business size is 1000 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The solicitation number for this announcement is Request for Proposal (RFP) FA4452-07-Q-A095. The requirement is for 10 each: Key Tape Disintegrator Model KD-100-Bundle: Includes KD-100-120-EXTVAC (KD-100 configured for use with External Vacuum, 120 volts) with the following features: Department of Defense Approved for Terminal Destruction of Paper, PMP, and Plastic Cryptographic Key Tape; Throughput: 13 Ft/Min.; Approximate Dimensions: 8 inches x 10 inches x 6 and one-half inches; Approximate Weight: 9.1 lbs.; 300 Watts, 100-130 VAC, 50-60 Hz; Illuminated Power Switch (ON-OFF); Low-Cost Disposable Filter Bag. Brand name or equal. Delivery is as follows: (1 each) Robins AFB, GA 31098; (2 each) McConnell AFB, KS 67221; (1 each) Seymour Johnson AFB, NC 27531; (1 each) Bangor ANGB, ME 04401; (1 each) Milwaukee, WI 53207; (1 each) Fairchild AFB, WA 99011; (2 each) Lincoln, NE 68521; (1 each) McGuire AFB, NJ 08641. Items must be new, not reconditioned or refurbished. Total cost shall include all shipping and handling. Only one award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror who meets the requirement. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
