- Set aside: Small Business-Buy Indian Act (Native American)(25 U.S.C. 47) set-aside. Interested and qualified under the Buy Indian Act (25.U.S.C. 47) should submit pertinent information on their capabilities to provide the above mentioned instrumentation, including company name, address, telephone and contact point. This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for the Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS). The following information is provided to assist the Indian Health Service in conducting Market Research of Industry to identify potential contractors for this effort. The applicable NAICS code is 562111, which applies to industry primarily engaged in collecting and/or hauling non-hazardous solid waste (i.e., garbage) within a local area. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, transportation, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide containers and non-hazardous solid waste refuse collection and disposal services for the following USPHS-Indian Health Service(s) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions and commercial practices: 1. Northern Navajo Medical Center US Hwy 491 North Shiprock, New Mexico 87420 2. Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center 6 Road 7586 Bloomfield, New Mexico 87413 3. Four Corners Regional Health Center US Hwy 160 & Navajo Route 35 ? Red Mesa Teecnospos, Arizona 86514 The contractor must also have applicable expertise in government acquisition and program management disciplines. This expertise is essential to ensure that cost, schedule, performance, and risk associated with the procurement are effectively applied in support of the IHS mission. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this Sources Sought Synopsis or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been finalized and is subject to change based on the responses received from the Sources Sought notices. Address and Point of Contact: What is the physical address of your main corporate office and who is primary point of contact? 2. Geographic Coverage: Please identify the areas of the United States where your organization operates. 3. Membership/Registration: a. Is your company registered in the Central Contractor Registration? All Contractors who wish to do business with NAIHS must be registered with CCR. You can register at the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. b. Is your company registered with the SBA as either an 8(a) or HUB Zone business? 4. Does your company provide: Non-hazardous solid waste refuse collection and disposal services at medical facilities? 5. References: Provide a list of all private industry or government contracts for similar services that you have performed during calendar years 2006 through 2007. Please include the customers? names, addresses, telephone number, dollar value of contract, and brief description of the services provided on the contract. This synopsis is for the purpose of identifying potential sources and does not commit the government to make an award and/or issue a solicitation. Interested and qualified firms should submit pertinent information on their capabilities to provide the above mentioned instrumentation, including company name, address, telephone number, and point of contact.
