Description

The Stratton VA Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Ave., Albany NY 12208, intends to solicit for and award a firm fixed-price contract for full service and preventative maintenance of ten TotalCare Sp02rt Hillrom Beds and 1 Rotation Module. Sources are being solicited to identify any potential vendor capable of performing this work who fits a SBA-approved socio-economic classification. If at least two responsible sources are identified that fulfill the same socio-economic category, the Contracting Officer may set this solicitation aside. If no responses are received, or there is no level of response adequate to justify a socio-economic set-aside, the Contracting Officer may release this solicitation to the open market. Under the provisions of PL 109-461, if only one Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business or Veteran Owned Small Business concern is determined responsible and offers reasonable pricing, the Contracting Officer may set this work aside to negotiate a sole-source award. Multiple SDVOSB or VOSB responses deemed able to perform this work will result in an appropriate competitive set-aside. Service shall include labor, travel, genuine Hill-Rom replacement parts, JACHO and other regulatory documentation, and ongoing user training.
