Description

Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center Rehab - Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct the following: Contact/Fee Station - (1,250 GSF), Visitor Arrival Structure (8,200 GSF), Administration Building Remodel - (7300 GSF), Rehab Existing Restroom Building (1,100 GSF - minimal cosmetic work). Work also includes extensive outdoor interpretive areas including landscaping and hardscaping, shade structures and exhibit, support structures, landscape retaining walls. Both the Visitor Center and Administration building components of the project will undergo the US Green Building Council's LEED certification process. The work is located in Clark County, Nevada. This requirement is open to both large and small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The estimated price range is over $10,000,000.00. The anticipated period of performance is 540 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Payment and Performance bonds will be required in the amount of 100% of the contract price each. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only at www.fedbizopps.gov. Specifications and drawings are available on CD only and must be requested in writing. Written requests may be faxed to 303-236-0590, or mailed to: Bureau of Land Management, Attn: Denise Bickler, BC-664, Bldg. 50, DFC, Denver, CO 80225. NO E-MAILS PLEASE. Offerors will be required to print the solicitation documents for submission of their proposal. The solicitation documents will be posted and the CD's mailed on or about September 19, 2007. CD's will be mailed via US Postal service unless otherwise requested. Federal Express overnight service is available upon request and should include contractors Federal Express Account Number. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov.
