- Description
- The US Department of State Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforce Office of Aviation (INL/A) is seeking capable offerors who can perform (1) the UH1H Aircraft Retrofit (Bell Huey II conversion) and (2) the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) on UH-1N aircraft. During this market research phase INL/A will be seeking industry input on draft solicitation documents which will be released in the near future. It anticipated that any contracts resulting from this action will be let approximately November 2008 and may also contain requirements for other US Agencies. (1) The contractor shall be responsible for the integration of the Bell Helicopter Super Huey Kit and the upgrade to a commercially supported Honeywell -703 engine into a government furnished aircraft and must meet or exceed the Super Huey Performance Specifications. (2) The contractor will be provided by INL/A the basic UH-1N helicopter to SLEP with Pratt & Whitney PT6T-3B engines as government furnished property for the contractor to integrate into the UH-1N SLEP aircraft. On each of these programs the contractor will also be responsible to transport, store, and account for all government provided property; additionally, disposal of any excess property may also be required.
