Description
The U.S. Army Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, is seeking potential qualified sources for on- site technical support at the U.S. Army Armor Center, Ft. Knox, KY. The primary purpose of this support effort is to ensure that Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition System???s (PM-MAS) ongoing/future direct fire weapon system- related technology base programs, armament system concepts, and overall strategic investment plans clearly address the operational visions and requirements of the armor community. Of key importance are PM-MAS???s lethality system options and their entry into the on-going U.S. Army Objective Force planning process. The effort will be restricted to small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541330 and a size standard of $25.0M. The resultant contract is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price. The contract is anticipated to have a one-year basic period of performance and four option years. Interested sources must demonstrate experience and knowledge with planning and marketing of lethality-related technology based programs (i.e. ammunition and weapon system enhancements), schedules, deliverables, and have demonstrated experience in marketing lethality-related technology programs for insertion into U.S. Army Objective Force planning activities and the Future Combat System (FCS) Unit of Action Maneuver Battle Laboratory (UAMBL). The information sought by this notice will be utilized by PM-MAS in assessing the availability of competition for this requirement. Interested firms are requested to submit information concerning their capability and interest to perform the above-described effort. All information shall be in contractor format but should at a minimum address the following: (1) Contractor name, address, CAGE Code, and POC phone number/e-mail address; (2) Business size status based on above identified NAICS code and size standard; (3) Description of technical capabilities and qualifications as they relate to the effort described above; (4) A listing of related Government contracts that the firm currently holds or has held within the past five years, with the Government Contracting Officer/Representative's name, phone number, and e-mail address.
