- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center West, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the following Requirements: Item 1)Repair Operator defencieis on AFTO form for Ladder 1, Engine 1, Engine 2, and Mini Pumper. Item 2) Repair Laddr Truck defenecies identified on American Test Center test report . Item 3) Restore Fire pumps on Ladder1, Engine1, Engine 2, and Mini pumper to pass annual Fire pump test requirements set fforth in NFPA 1500, 6.4.6. Item 4) Perfrom full Preventive Maintance (PM) actions on Ladder 1, Engine 1, Engine 2, and Mini pumper. Item 5) Perfrom full comprehensive certification pump test on Ladder1, Engine 1, Engine 2, and Mini pumpe r/pump certification data to be made available to the Fort Sam Houston Fire Department upon completion. Site visit is scheduled for 29 Aug 07 at 10:00 am CST at Fort Sam Houston Fire Station, 3201 Schofield Road, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234. This acquisition is available for full and open competition. The NAICS Code is 811118. The small business size standard is $6.5millon.
