Function: An electrical harness with a small electrical motor used in setting a component to a certain rotational position within the unified fuel control. Gear head output shall rotate counter clockwise as view from shaft. Predominant material of manufacture: consists of parts 184588, 5 pin contacts: 184601, connector .66in. max LG; 184597, Sleeve .75in. Nom LG; 184809-130, Sleeve, 0.70in min, .90in. max LG; Harness Length 2.25in Min, 2.75in Max. Delivery: Min: 6-20 EA Max: 21-35 EA by 30 Sep 2008. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 13 Sep 2007. The anticipated award date will be 19 Oct 2007. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: supplies (or Services) required are available from only or a limited number of responsible sources(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualifications requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR Clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualifications requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
