SUBJECT: AMENDMENT NO. 1 REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) NO. HR-07-382 ENTITLED, "MULTIMEDIA PODIUMS" AMENDMENT NO. 1 <u>The Solicitation is revised to reflect the changes shown below.</U> <u>Questions and Answers</u> Question No. 1) With regards to the sixth podium what brand of multimedia furniture are we looking at? NRC Response: The sixth podium is a MT-101 Smart Lectern. The company specification is at the following website: http://www.gomediatech.com/download/MT-100-SSR04.pdf Question No. 2) Are you looking for the existing podium to have all the same features as the one you are specifying in the bid? NRC Response: Yes, the specification was based on the needs of the instructors at the PDC an are the minimum capabilities required. Question No. 3) If so I think there will be issues regarding surface mounting speakers so they are flush with the mounting surface, the footprint size, flip up tables and casting wheels. NRC Response: The speakers can be mounted on the lectern, or strategically in the room. The vendor can propose the best solution for the lecterns. Question No. 4) Will the podium require an articulating arm? NRC Response: No articulating arm is required. Question No. 5) On page 3 of the bid it states that computers will be supplied by NRC but on page 4 it states that the minimum specification required or equivalent for the NRC podium and then goes to list the computer's requirements leading me to believe you want us to supply the computer with certain specs. NRC Response: The NRC will supply the computers for the lectern. They will be the standard computer system supplied by the NRC for the typical end user. Question No. 6) The question is do we provide a computer with these specifications or is NRC providing it? (1.) There is mention that NRC will provide the personal computer system under scope A. # 3 (2.) There is also a computer system mentioned under Minimum Specifications #1? NRC Response: The NRC will provide the computer system for each lectern. Correction No. 1 Refer to Program Objectives and Outcomes, Paragraph (A), Number 5 shall be revised as follows: Delete: "Integrated Confidence Monitor with moveable arm on the same side as the hinged arm for wheelchair bound instructors." Add: "Integrated Confidence Monitor" Correction No. 2 Refer to Minimum Specifications Required or Equivalent for the Nuclear Regulatory Professional Development Center Podiums, Paragraph 1: Delete: Paragraph 1 entitled "Podium Computer System" NOTE: THE NRC WILL PROVIDE THE COMPUTER.
