Description

The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, CA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole-source basis to CMA Company, 302 Alabama Street, Ste 7, Redlands, CA 92372-8033 for reviewing and analyzing the suitability of at least four potential locations for a Robotic Systems Test and Evaluation Center. One of the staffs of CMA Company acted as a mentor under the DoD's Mentor-Prot?g? program on 11 different Mentor-Prot?g? contracts. Through these contracts, the company managed the transition of Robotic Systems and Robotics Technology to the Prot?g? companies through outreach with SPAWAR, Joint Robotics Program, various Universities and Laboratories. Authority is granted under the procedures of the Federal Acquisition regulations FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a Request for Quotation (RFQ) will not be issued. An RFQ with Statement of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), DD-1423 will be sent under separate cover to CMA Company.
