THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AND INCORPORATED PROVISION AND CLAUSES ARE THOSE IN EFFECT THROUGH FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR 2005-18 AND CLASS DEVIATION 2005-00001, DEFENSE ACQUISITION CIRCULAR (DAC) 91-13 CORRECTION AND AIR FORCE ACQUISITION CIRCULAR (AFAC) 2007-0531. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON FEDBIZOPPS AND CAN BE FOUND AT THE FOLLOWING WEB SITE: HTTP://WWW.FBO.GOV/. SOLICITATION# : F3QCCL7226A004 - is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Part 13.5. Offerors shall provide quotes for all items or services listed - multiple awards under this solicitation are not authorized. This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside. SCOPE: Remove, relocate and reinstall Herman Miller office furniture in specified rooms located in building 230 on Robins AFB. 2. TASKS: Phase 1 Room 123B A. Disassemble 10 Herman Miller A03 cubicles and 1 Herman Miller Highwall Supervisor Office in the south end of Room 123B, sort and store temporarily in the same area. Special attention will have to be made to insure that overheads and file cabinets in each cubicle are kept together because locks are keyed alike. B. Block off area at east and west ends to identify a construction area. Room 121C/B C. Disassemble 30 Herman Miller A03 cubicles (6?w X 8?l X 80?h) in Room 121C/B, sort and store temporarily in the same area. Special attention will have to be made to insure that overheads and file cabinets in each cubicle are kept together because locks are keyed alike. Disassemble 7 Herman Miller Highwall Supervisor Offices in Room 121C/B and store in Room 123B in area previously cleared (except enough for the Supervisor Office in the North East Corner of Room 121C/B). D. Install 30 cubicles (6?w X 8?l X 80?h) in Room 121C/B according to the new configuration (Phase 1) in the area previously cleared (27 on south side and 3 in the North West side). Special attention to the placement of floor tiles with a hole for power, data and phone for each cubicle is critical. E. Move 6 cubicles stored in Room 123B and install according to the new configuration (Phase 1) in the area previously cleared in Room 121C/B in the North West side. Special attention to the placement of floor tiles with a hole for power, data and phone for each cubicle is critical. F. Install 1 Herman Miller Highwall Supervisor Office according to the new configuration (Phase 1) in Room 121C/B in the area previously cleared. Special attention to the placement of floor tiles with a hole for power, data and phone for each cubicle is critical. G. At this point, 30 personnel from Room 123B will move into the 12 cubicles on the south side of Room 121C/B and the 18 cubicles in the North West corner according to the new configuration (Phase 1). H. Block off south entrance and cubicle #50 and cubicles #15 and #16 to identify construction area in Room 121C/B. Phase 2 Room 123B I. Disassemble 27 Herman Miller A03 cubicles remaining in Room 123B, move 16 cubicles to Room 121C/B, sort and store temporarily in the area. Special attention will have to be made to insure that overheads and file cabinets in each cubicle are kept together because locks are keyed alike. Room 121C/B J. Install 16 cubicles (6?w X 8?l X 80?h) in Room 121C/B according to the new configuration (Phase 2) in the area previously cleared to complete the 52 cubicles in Room 121C/B. Special attention to the placement of floor tiles with a hole for power, data and phone for each cubicle is critical. Room 122 K. Disassemble 1 Herman Miller Highwall Supervisor Office (southeast corner ? Rick Westray?s old office) in Room 122 and store in Room 123B in the area previously cleared. L. Move 2 cubicles to Room 122B from Room 123B, sort and store temporarily in the area. Special attention will have to be made to insure that overheads and file cabinets in each cubicle are kept together because locks are keyed alike. M. Install 2 cubicles (6?w X 8?l X 80?h) in Room 122 according to the new configuration (Phase 2) in the area previously cleared. Special attention to the placement of floor tiles with a hole for power, data and phone for each cubicle is critical. NOTE: all storage will be provided by the government. 3. HOURS OF WORK: The standard hours of work shall be Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM EST except Federal Holidays unless otherwise arranged.
