Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a commercial item. Tentative solicitation release date is 25 June 2007. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform military cargo hauling services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) within the island of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. The contractor shall have the capability to provide hauling services for up to 5 (five) berthed ships simultaneously. The resulting contract will be Firm-fixed Price Contract. Performance begins on 01 Oct 2007 for one (1) basic year plus four (4) option years. Offerors are advised to forward past performance questionnaires for past performance references in ample time to be received by the Governemnt no later than the time set for receipt of offerors. Note: this requirement will be entirely peroformed in the island of Okinawa, Japan. Award can be made to firms licensed to operate in the country of Japan. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-MAY-2007).
