Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make an award on a sole-source basis to Geoprobe Systemsl in Salina, KS to provide Cone Penetration Test equipment. This vendor is the only vendor capable of providing the intricate and proprietary Direct Imaging tools neccessary for enhanced sub-surface investigation and site characterization. Additionally, Geoprobe Systems offers training specific to the Direct Push machine already purchased by the government, enhancing the operational safety and integrity of future projects There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on, or about August 22, 2007. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332312. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
