Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91ZLK-07-T-0705. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set Aside. This solicitatio n document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-04. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339111 and the Business Size Standard is 500. The contracto r shall provide the following : CLIN 0001 - CUSTOM (FHM 3SS) STAINLESS STEEL FUME HOOD OR EQUIVALENT - 4 EACH. EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS SHOULD BE . NOMINAL OVERALL DIMENSIONS: 36 INCH W X 27 INCH D X 47 INCH H. NOMINAL WORK AREA DIMENSIONS: 36 INCH W X 2 4 INCH D X 24.5 INCH H. CONSTRUCTED OF ALL WELDED, TYPE-316 STAINLESS STEEL. COVED COMERS AND RADIUS BENDS TO FACILITATE DECONTAMINATION. SLIDING SCRATCH-RESISTANT POLYCARBONATE SASH OPENS TO FULL HEIGHT FOR SETTING UP APPARTUS WITH CALIBRATIONS ALONG THE SIDES TO INDICATE MAXIMUM OPENING HEIGHT AT WHICH 100 IFPM CAN BE OBTAINED (TYPICAL 10 INCH H). AN ANALOG PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL GAUGE CONTINUOUSLY MONITORS AIRFLOW. EXHAUST FLANGE FOR CONNECTION TO 6 INCH DUCT HOSE LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED. OPTIMAL AIRFL OW IS ASSURED BY A SLOTTED, REMOVABLE BAFFLE SYSTEM, WHICH AFFIXES TO THE INTERIOR BACK PANEL OF THE FUME HOOD. MOUNTING BRACKETS FOR MOBILE INSTALLATION. Delivery shall be to the U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. The government reserves the right to make an award without discussions.
