The Karibou Stewardship Project will include approximately 3,400 CCF of timber removal and 450 to 508 acres of fuels reduction to include some site preparation. The size standard is $6.5 million. The Forest Service anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract utilizing best value techniques under stewardship authority. The period of performance will be five years to begin approximately in October of 2007.
