Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this solicitation is 1796 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310. The Small Business Size Standard is $5M. The government intends to award a contract for the following line item. CLIN 0001 - Contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, materials, and supplies to perform monthly maintenance in IAW with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) on all elevators at Nellis AFB. See Attachment 4, Bid Schedule, for a complete description of contract CLIN?s. The SOW (Attachment 1), Bid Schedule (Attachment 2), Offer Representations and Certifications (Attachment 3), Past Performance Reference questionnaire (Attachment 4) and Wage Determination No. 1986-0431 (Attachment 5) can be downloaded from this website once they are posted. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any amendments. All clauses and provisions applicable to this solicitation can be viewed on the Air Force FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Past performance is slightly more important than price. The government may award to other than the low offeror if it is more advantageous to award to an offeror with superior past performance. The evaluation and award procedures in FAR Part 13 will be utilized. All proposals must include a completed copy of the Bid Schedule, a completed copy of Offeror Representations and Certifications, and three (3) relevant and recent past performance references. Relevancy is defined as work performed on a contract that is similar in scope with an award amount of $100,000 ore more; recency is defined as work performed within three (3) years of the date of this posting on a contract similar in scope. Offerors who fail to complete and submit the requirements above may be considered non-responsive. For solicitations issued after 1 Jun 98 all ** contractors are required to be Registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) **. If not already registered, you should immediately register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are required to have a Dun & Bradstreet number (DUNS) in order to be registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration may make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractors can receive a DUNS number by calling Dun & Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505. Internet registration takes approximately 72 hours: mail-in registration takes approximately 30 days.
