Description

The National Park Service has issued a Prospectus for proposals to provide marina operations including moorage, camping, and fuel sales at the Whiskeytown Unit of the Whiskeytown -Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area. The existing Concession Contract between the National Park Service and the existing Concessioner expires on December 31, 2007. The Director, pusuant ot 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is NOT a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for twenty (20) years. Any offer, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, California 94607 no later than ninety (90) days from August 16, 2007 in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract. The Prospectus has been issued on August 16, 2007, for a 90-day response periord under the terms described in the Prospectus, with proposals due on November 14, 2007, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delievered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
