Description

The National Park Service has issued a Prospectus, including Modification #1, for proposals to operate a Horse Camp within Point Reyes National Seashore. The existing Concession Contract between the National Park Service and the existing Concessioner expires on December 31, 2007, or until such time as a new Concession Contract is awarded, whichever occurs first. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for ten (10) years. Any offer must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, California 94607 no later than sixty-two (62) days from Aug 16, 2007 in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract. The Prospectus will be issued on Aug 16, 2007 for a 62-day response periord under the terms described in the Prospectus, with proposals due on Oct 16, 2007, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delievered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
