- 1. The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for the supply and delivery FOB Destination, of five new 2007 all-terrain and utility vehicles. 2. Quotes are to be submitted to Coronado National Forest, Room 5F, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 or faxed to (520) 388-8332 by close of business August 27, 2007. 3. Note: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 4. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. 5. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 441221 and the size standard is 500 employees. 6. Submit a detailed equipment list/specification with price quote for supply and delivery of the following all-terrain and utility vehicles. The Contracting Officer may elect to waive delivery by the vendor if it is feasible for the Forest Service to pick up the vehicles at the vendor location, and if it is in the best interests of government to do so. All deliveries of vehicles must be FOB Destination to the listed delivery addresses. 7. A quote may be submitted for one, any, or all of the contract line item numbers (CLINs) below. The Government contemplates multiple awards, but reserves the right to award all the CLINs to one vendor; to award a lesser quantity than listed; or to award none of the CLINs if it is in the best interests of the Government. Price quotes for each CLIN should indicate the purchase price inclusive of freight and handling, if applicable, and sales tax, if applicable. The federal government is exempt from sales tax in most states, but is liable for 50% of the applicable state and local tax in Arizona. Quotes must not include extended warranties, service contracts, vehicle license fees or any document fees associated with registering a vehicle with a state motor vehicle department. The price for FOB Destination delivery to the applicable address should be quoted separately from the purchase price. Please apply any end-of-model-year rebates or other incentives. 8. CLIN 1, A quantity of two (2) new 2007 Honda Fourtrax Rancher 4X4 all-terrain vehicles; CLIN 1A, Delivery to Santa Catalina Ranger District, 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road, Tucson, AZ 85750. CLIN 2, A quantity of one (1) new 2007 Polaris Ranger XP 700 4X4 all-terrain vehicle; CLIN 2A, Delivery to Nogales Ranger District, 303 Old Tucson Road, Nogales, AZ 85621. CLIN 3, A quantity of one (1) 2007 Polaris Sportsman 500 4X4 all-terrain vehicle; CLIN 3A, Delivery to Sierra Vista Ranger District, 5990 S. Highway 92, Hereford, AZ 85615. CLIN 4, A quantity of one (1) 2007 Kawasaki Mule 3010 4x4 diesel utility vehicle; CLIN 4A, Delivery to Sierra Vista Ranger District, 5990 S. Highway 92, Hereford, AZ 85615. 9. Desired delivery date for all vehicles is on or before September 28, 2007. 10. Quotes must include a completed copy of [FAR] 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items. 11. [FAR] 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items is applicable with the following factors used to evaluate quotes: Price, technical conformity to specifications, and ability to meet delivery date. 12.
