Description: Project consists of the decommissioning of Forest Road 1S01 and converting it to a trail. Items of work include ripping of existing roadbed, filling inside ditch and maintaining a 4' wide area as trail. Also includes removal of seven culverts, four gates and construction of three earth or rock barricades. An optional item of decommissioning of Forest Road 1S01B may be awarded if funding is available. Price range is $25,000 to $100,000. A site visit may be held, if so, date and time will be specified in the solicitation. Contract time will be 60 days with an estimated start date of September 24, 2007. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about August 17, 2007.
