- Description
- The DCMA at Boeing Philadelphia, PA intends to negotiate and award a level of effort, time and materials order to procure Two A15PKAAA-(new) Engine Oil Tanks kits for the CH-46 series helicopter, under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00019-05-G-0012. The CH-46E engine oil tank kits will be fabricated and subjected to Trial Installation on an aircraft at an East Coast Government facility. Tasks associated with ESM 0149-2 shall be manufacture planning, procurement, supplier support, final assembly, testing, delivery, and trial installation of two (qty=2) resultant A15PKAAA-(new) Kit Assemblies. The proposed order will be awarded on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company, Ridley Park, PA for an estimated period of performance of twelve months after the date of contract award. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code, Section 2304(c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the H-46 series helicopter and retains exclusive proprietary rights to all technical data. The Boeing Company is the only firm that possesses the knowledge, experience, technical expertise and technical data required to perform these efforts.
