PLEASE SEND ALL CORRESPONDENTS TO COLUNTEYA.WEEMS@FAA.GOV ROOF REPLACEMENT, AIR ROUTE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER (ARTCC), HAMPTON, GEORGIA THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The FAA is seeking qualified small businesses to submit offers for replacement of the roof at the Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Hampton, Georgia. The work includes, but is not limited to, replace designated roof sections for approximately 9000 SF of roof at Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center and replace designated roof sections. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 238160, Roofing Contractors and to be eligible to submit an offer under this Request for offers, the contractor must have annual average receipts for the preceding 3 fiscal years not to exceed $13 million. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $150,000 and $350,000. All work must be coordinated in order to allow continued operations in the facility. The total contract duration for completion of all work shall be 90 calendar days. Prospective offerors are strongly recommended to perform a site visit to assess the actual conditions before submitting an offer. All interested sources should first attempt to download the attached document(s) from the Internet. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
