- Questions received for "Sources Sought Synopsis" N61339-07-SS-0073 A. Please state whether courseware and curricular materials will be provided by NAWC TSD or if the contractor will be required to develop them. ANSWER:The courseware and curricular materials will NOT be provided by NAWC TSD. The curriculum will be developed by the vendor and approved / accepted by the Government Learning Centers [i.e. approving Centers'; Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) and Center Information Dominance (CID)]. CSCS AND CID will expect the vendor to maintain the courses by keeping them relevant and current. Any new courses or existing course overhauls will require a separate contract with a Statement of Work (SOW) that specifies the requirements. B. Please specify the duration of each course of instruction. ANSWER:(1) Over the Horizon-Targeting/Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence (OTHT C4I); one (1) week (2) Command Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I SYS ENG); one (1) week (3) Information Technology for the 21st Century for Managers (IT21 For Managers); three (3) days (4) Common Operational Picture Advanced (COP Advanced); one (1) week (5) Information and Communications Manager Course (ICMC); three (3) weeks (6) Tactical Tomahawk Weapons System Engineering (TTWS-E); one (1) week (7) Information Professional Officer Basic Course (IP Basic); two (2) weeks C. Please clarify the number of course offerings per year; is the requirement for a total of 100 courses/year or for 700 courses/year. ANSWER: Total courses will be approximately 100 per year, but this will vary according to the Centers' schedule. The following is a break out of the number of courses that were taught last year (past history); (1) Over the Horizon-Targeting/Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence (OTHT C4I); 6 each (2) Command Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I SYS ENG); 40 each (3) Information Technology for the 21st Century for Managers (IT21 For Managers); 2 each (4) Common Operational Picture Advanced (COP Advanced); 42 each (5) Information and Communications Manager Course (ICMC); 12 each (6) Tactical Tomahawk Weapons System Engineering (TTWS-E); 2 each (7) Information Professional Officer Basic Course (IP Basic); 4 each D. Please identify, at least hypothetically, the worldwide Locations where courses will be offered and the number of times each course of instruction is to be offered at each location. Businesses cannot realistically comment on their ability to support worldwide instruction without some knowledge of course venues. The following are the locations of the classes this past year. The number of courses at each location will vary: Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA, Japan, Jacksonville, FL, Seattle, WA, Pearl Harbor, HI, Manama, Bahrain. Please note that the vendor will be required to provide training anywhere in the world.
