Description

Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Layton Geo - Science (TerraGo), 1600 Parkwood Circle, Suite 615, Atlanta, GA 30339-2119 for MAP2PDF Suite to include MAP2PDF for Acrobat; MAP2PDF for ArcGIS; MAP Assembler; GeoPDF2GeoTIFF; and first year maintenance. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP)  only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Layton (TerraGo) is the creator/developer of this software suite and is the only distributor. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities/qualifications to p erform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 0700 hrs Central Time Zone on 14 August 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not accep table in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
