Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-07-T-2747 is being issued as a request for quote and replaces Solicitation number W31P4Q-07-T-2977, which was canceled due to change in specification *(2), belo w. This requirement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The US Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to issue a contract for a requirement of One Explosion Proof Vacuum Oven, which must meet the following specifications: (1) Class 1, Division 1 explosion proof requirements *(2) Unit must be capable of a hard vacuum that can reach under 100 MTorr in 30 minutes or less, using an oil filled pump (3) Unit must be able to reach 275 degrees C (4) Unit must have an interior size of 36 inches x 36 inc hes x 36 inches (5) Unit must have a corrosion resistant vacuum pump (6) Unit must have pneumatically actuated bellows valves and a pressure transducer with read-out gauge. Any additional costs for shipping to FOB destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL and t he estimated delivery timeframe after receipt of order (ARO) shall be included on quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. CLIN 0001 will be issued for the f ollowing items and quantities: One Explosion Proof Vacuum Oven, which meets the following specifications: (1) Class 1, Division 1 explosion proof requirements *(2) Unit must be capable of a hard vacuum that can reach under 100 MTorr in 30 minutes or less , using an oil filled pump (3) Unit must be able to reach 275 degrees C (4) Unit must have an interior size of 36 inches x 36 inches x 36 inches (5) Unit must have a corrosion resistant vacuum pump (6) Unit must have pneumatically actuated bellows valves and a pressure transducer with read-out gauge; plus, any additional shipping costs for FOB destination Redstone Arsenal, AL. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency, if received by 22 August 2007, noon (CST). Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award.
