Description
This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAIC code is 236220 and the Size Standard is $31.0M. Replacement valves located in the chilled water/condenser water systems, serving the Boston Air Route Traffic Control (ARTCC) facility in Nashua, NH. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Remove aluminum jacket and insulation from the cooling tower fill pipes and replace with new upon completion of valve installation. 2. supply and install a total of approximately 130L.F. of heat tape on condenser water fill pipe from ground level to stand pipe ouput end. 3. Perform leak test on all newly installed valves. 4. Clean up and restore site to its original condition after the work has been completed. All work is listed in the Specifications and Drawings. Performance period is forty-five (21) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No Liquidated Damages will be assessed. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about the week of August 20, 2007. Contractor must provide references showing that during the past 5 years they have successfully completed a job of similar size and complexity, as the prime contractor. References must be submitted with your offer. Failure to submit references may result in your offer being rejected as non-responsive. There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee required for this solicitation package. All checks must be made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration. All requests for the solicitation package must be in writing, include a check and mailed to Robert Higgins, FAA, 12 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA 01803.
